Simon FarquharSimon Farquhar is a writer and broadcaster. His plays include Rainbow Kiss (Royal Court Theatre), Dream Me A Winter (Old Vic and Wireless Theatre Company), Wassail Play (Theatre Royal, Dumfries) and Candy Floss Kisses and Elevenses with Twiggy on BBC Radio 4, for whom he also wrote and presented the documentary A Sympathetic Eye as part of the series Archive on 4. His book A Dangerous Place was published in 2016, and was shortlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger Award for Non-Fiction. He writes regularly for The Independent and The Times.
